The Gearbox CX14H combines a maneuverable shape with the stability of a thick core to delicately balance opposing attributes and offer a softer feel than the CX11 line. This paddle caters to players who like the stability of a thick honeycomb core but are looking to upgrade their performance. In this case the upgrade comes in the form of a 14mm thick T-700 Carbon Fiber SST Core. This core melds various pieces of carbon fiber into one piece to eliminate dead spots, enhance longevity, boast a soft feel, and offer an 8.0oz weight despite its thick design. Also packed into this core is "Hyperbite technology”, which consists of hidden ridges that compress the ball and actively add spin so that you can hit all of the spinning shots you can dream up.
To properly fill its role as the more maneuverable paddle in the CX14 line, the Gearbox CX14H offers a “Hyper” face size of 10” by 8”. This squared-up design in conjunction with the extended 5 5/8” Smooth Wrap coated handle allows you to move the 3K Woven Carbon Fiber hitting surface quickly and create lots of whip. This movement allows you to fully utilize the woven face that limits vibrations and performs extremely well during off-center contacts. Thanks to the edgeless design and specifically placed fibers towards that edge of the paddle, those off-center strikes will be absorbed to limit torque without hurting pop that helps you put the ball where you intended.
