Bantam EX-L Composite Pickleball Paddle

The Bantam EX-L Composite Pickleball Paddle by Paddletek is one of our most popular paddles. This paddle has a specialized, polymer core which was specifically made for pickleball playing. This core was designed to provide greater power, more placement control and hits that are strong yet quieter than Nomex core paddles. Paddletek created the Bantam to be a winner at a lighter weight. The abstract, geometric vinyl decal is laid on top of the high tech fiberglass face. Inside, the strong polymer core provides a sturdy basis for lots of pickleball play.

The Bantam EX-L paddle is in the sweet zone for many players, weighing 8.1 to 8.4 ounces. At this weight, players still have natural power from the paddle but can also impart spin and control. The 7-3/4” wide face provides a good amount of room on the face, while the 5 1/8” long handle is long enough for reach but not overly-extended. This is a relatively short paddle, measuring 15-5/8” from the top of the paddle to the bottom. The small-sized grip is padded, keeping a player’s comfort in mind.

Choosing to play with the Bantam EX-L is a decision that no player will ever look back on with regret.
Available in the following colors: red, blue, purple

This is Curtis with Paddletek. This is the Bantam XL, a very popular seller for us. What makes the Bantam special, it’s around 8 ounces and it has more pop in the sweet spot. So if you’re looking for a little more power when you hit the sweet spot, this is the paddle for you.

Here is a transcript of the video:

Hi, I’m Dee Rochel, and I chose my Paddletek Bantam EX-L because I had an opportunity to hit with the prototype when Stephanie Lane was trying it out and I really liked it and I was in the market for a new paddle, so I hit with that one. And then when they brought it out last year at Nationals, I demo’d it again and I really liked it and I purchased.

And you’re competing today here.
I am, if you can call it that. (laughs)

Where are you from?
I’m from Florence, Arizona, full time.

Great, well thank you so much for talking with us and good luck today.
Thanks.

Hi, I’m Linda Einsiedler from Maine. I’m an Ambassador, Maine, Freeport Brunswick area. (This is) my first time here. I love Paddletek rackets. I have this, the Bantam and I have the Power Play Pro and I when this is my favorite, absolute favorite racket ever.

What do you like about it?
It’s got a lot of pop and I like that the surface is very durable. I’ve played with other rackets where the surface breaks down in about three to five months. So, this has been with me for, ever since for three or four months of hard play, and there is no sign of wear. Plus it has the warranty on the surface for the surface.
